Fans of Tech was established in October of 2005 with lofty goals. We wanted to be a source for the latest in tech news from around the world in every category imaginable (software, hardware, gaming, etc.) while also providing tools and resources to tech-lovers everywhere.

We began publishing here at fansoftech.com but soon realized we didn’t yet have the time to dedicate to running our own servers and WordPress installation. So, we moved our blog to Wordpress.com where the fine folks there hosted our blog for free and continued to add beautiful feature upon beautiful feature. Meanwhile, we still had big things planned for the Fans of Tech site and, even though we still struggled with time constraints, we realized that our plans couldn’t really expand into what we needed them to be running on someone else’s servers. Hence, our arrival back here at www.fansoftech.com.

That said, stay tuned, there’s plenty to come including a customized and carefully planned site design* as well as exclusive features and projects with the help from friends here in the U.S. and from around the globe.

*Many thanks to Brajeshwar for the WP template (based on a Movable Type theme from Christian Nelson) that we’re currently using.  Albeit, with a little tweaking on our end.
