The Week in Review: 2006-01-07: Zune
By Jason | Jan 07, 2007
- * Proporta, makers of iPod accessories, has released a line of protective cases for Microsoft’s Zune media player including silicone, leather, and aluminum. ZuneThoughts also makes mention of two other cases, the Mobile Device Sock and Aquapac Waterproof Case, that, while not necessarily designed specifically for the Zune, will fit the product quite well.
- * Memorex has also entered the Zune accessories market by releasing three new cases for Microsoft’s iPod competitor. Much like Proporta, Memorex has introduced a silicone and leather case and has also joined the likes of Belkin and DLO by releasing an sport-band as well.
- * Moyea has introduced a video-to-Zune converter for turning those DivX, XviD, RM files (and more) into movies that are compatible with the Zune.
That’s it for now but something tells me that, with the Consumer Electronics Show* going on this week, we’ll be posting more Zune news soon.
*I highly recommend checking out Gizmodo for up-to-date complete coverage/live-blogging of CES happenings.
