Google Video Ads

I just happened to be browsing a blog just a bit ago when I stumbled across something I had never seen before. It was within the section of the page where there are usually Google text ads. Indeed there was an ad there but it definitely was not text. It was video. To be specific, a 15-second Google AdSense ad for, in this instance, Magazines.com incorporating Google Video technology.

Video ads themselves aren’t new at all (just visit IMDB any day of the week) but, as far as I know, this is the first time I’ve seen such an ad from Google themselves.
